My speech..* » 11 September 2006
Good morning everyone. It is my pressure to make a speech here. I would like to share my experience in England with all of you.
First of all , I really like to thank Rotary club for their support. I also want to thank to my school principal Mr Lee, my class teacher Ms Cheung and my English teacher Mrs Liu for their recommendation. Lastly I would like to thank my roommate, Lidia , for her patience and we know how to take care of ourselves in these three weeks.
This trip is not a trip only, but also a lifelong experience. I can’t believe I have grown up so much. In the first few days to Salisbury, I was such a little girl who didn’t know anything. After a few days later, my new friends brought me to another new world which helped me to build up my knowledge, made me more confident and independent.
Through the activities such as making pottery, dancing and horse riding. I have made a lot of friends and tried a lot of new things that I never done before. I enjoy taking part in all these activities with my friends. They are helped me a lot in these three weeks. Although they are in different nationalities, they are so friendly that I can share my feelings with them. The most unforgettable experience is to have such good friends like them. I am so happy that now I can keep contact with them and I hope it continues in the following future.
On the other hand, I was so lucky to have a dutiful host family, Mrs Greyer, who provided a comfortable, pretty and warm condition for me and to let me experience the local living style. We also helped her to water the garden, cut the grass, went out to pick up some blackberries and we enjoyed the TV program together. It seems we became the family members in the house. I appreciate her care to us in these three weeks.
Finally, I want to thank for Rotary club and my principal, Mr Lee again. Thank you for your listening.應該是最長的一篇日記 =0=''
